Coir is a natural fiber procured from coconut. The fiber withstands water for a long duration. The natural fiber is used to make ropes and mats that come handy in various ways. The Indian pharma industry has traveled long. From being almost non-existent before 70s, the industry today meets 95 % of the domestic demand in medical sector in terms of prescription drugs, diagnostics, as well as surgical equipments.

Indian pharmaceuticals industry holds its claim to being the third largest globally by volume, with aims to lead India’s manufacturing sector. It currently tops the chart amongst India’s science-based industries with wide ranging capabilities in the complex field of drug manufacture and technology.

The pioneers in country’s medical sector have been providing healthcare products since 1903, which exist today as government-owned drug manufacturers. Pharmaceuticals were imported till early 60s in fully formulated form or in bulk.

Ghee is a clarified butter which originated in Southern Asia ages ago. It is used very commonly in South Asian Cuisines. Ghee is used for various purposes that include food preparation, religious use, as well as for its nutritious value.
 
PREPARATION: Ghee is prepared by making butter first and then clarifying it. The process begins with boiling cow milk first. A thick layer of cream forms on top of the milk after it reaches room temperature. The cream is removed and stored in a container and refrigerated. The collected cream is brought to room temperature and churned using a wooden churner or ladle until the butter spreads separate. This thoroughly washed butter can now be used to prepare ghee.
